About Us
Since 2020, Friends of Nature (formerly Middlewood House Forest School) has been creating opportunities for children and their families to explore, play and learn in the natural world.
We are now (as of 2026) proud to share that we are a Community Interest Company, dedicated to creating long-lasting opportunities and positive outcomes for young people and the wider community.
Our woodland setting is so much more than a place to play- it is a place to learn, relax, connect and find support.
We enable children and their families to build confidence, resilience, practical and social skills, and independence, while supporting their emotional and physical growth and wellbeing, and creating a community that cares.
This next step in our journey is hugely exciting, and we appreciate everybody who supports us now, has in the past, and will in the future.
